Wait For Me (Kirk) is a Charleston, SC based DJ/Producer by way of Boston where he dove head first into the Nu Disco & House scene on the beaches of Nantucket back in 2010. Inspired by the quality of production in this genre, Wait For Me chose to begin his production journey in 2012. A journey that has taken him from disco to deep as he finds himself focused on his genre weapons of choice: minimal, high energy minimal & deep tech.
Through years of experimentation, Wait For Me has found his sound centered around three main elements: a captivating/persistent bass groove, dynamic percussion, and a light-hearted approach to vocals/melody. Even with a defined sound, his deep roots in disco continue to inspire the majority of decisions Wait For Me makes in his productions.
Wait For Me’s tracks have garnered support from DJs like Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Latmun, Cristina Lazic, Tomi&Kesh and more. For the future, Wait For Me sees nothing but a continued exploration of his sound. While he will always ground himself in his love for disco, he’s eager to create any music that makes the people move.
